My Contents For School Magazine.

In my contents page there will be numbers that are connected to each page and each article. The content will include storeys such as, how the headmaster met the mayor, updates on school progress, pupils work on display, ice radio interviews and so on. There will also be 10 feature articles which will appear in my magazine. These are 10 rules to stay out of trouble, photography courses, best students in the block, will enrichment be bent, exam mayhem, Don`t be a gorm in your uniform, Primarys come to visit, chance to win a trip to the cinema for you and a mate, drawing competition and last chance to bag a locker. There will also be images to match these articles including images with the students and there artwork on display, and other photos to go with the articles like a image of a locker, a uniform, an exam sheet, a camera, a cinema ticket, a drawing, a primary school child and a sixth former.

Here is a rough layout of my Contents page for my magazine.

My School Magazine Design.

My title of my magazine is going to be called School Rule. It is priced at £1.50 and for the front cover image i am using a picture of the school name Weatherhead and a pupil in uniform standing by it, this will be a medium close up. This photo will represent the school and the target audience and what the whole purpose of the magazine is. There are 7 cover lines on my magazine and are all connoted with school such as, Exam mayhem, Photography courses, Best students on the block and so on. These hopefully will draw the target audience in and  make students want to buy the magazine and read about whats happening in school.

Here is my rough layout of my magazine.

Lesson.

In class we learnt how to take photographs on the camera with a variety of different shots such as,

Big close up
Extreme close up
Tilted frame
Two shot
Medium close up
Very long shot
Low angle
Medium close up
Close up
High angle

We then in groups went out with the camera and were given a list of different shots to take such as, a photograph showing connotations of stress or friendship, or an over the shoulder shot of someone writing or using a phone and so on.

Here are some of the pictures my group took.
